Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

N.E. Wilson I was inspired by watching Lost Girls on netflix. The part that got me was how Bo feeds off of sexual energy. It's how she lives, so it's food for her body but it's still pleasurable of course. I wondered what it would be like to have a whole society where the energy force, the food force, was sexual energy. It would complicate everything and those complications interests me the the most when it comes to writing. For the record, Soul(s) isn't really like Lost Girl at all, but I did draw from that one idea of surviving off of sexual energy.
