Sometimes it comes from personal experiences. It could be from conversations I hear whether it's from strangers, friends, family. Sometimes it could be just a topic I'm interested in and the characters and storylines unfold from there. Once in a while, ideas just pop up in my head and I always write those ideas down to reference for future stories.
