Has anyone higher up in the USAF responded to Nixon’s view that aerial bombardment accomplished nothing in the Viet Nam conflict? It seems to me they can’t let that go unanswered considering the high cost in lives and treasure and the present practice of aerial warfare rather than using ground forces.
