Terrie asked:

Hi again, well it's that time of year I start thinking of the gifts I plan to buy my family. Is this a good read for my son? He is a ex marine and a young adult looking for his niche in life. He likes excitement and fantasy in his reading material.

Jillian Hi Terrie, that's a great question. It's obvious you're really proud of your son (you should be) and want to do something nice for him! Whether any book will suit, is always a matter of personal taste. Immortal Flame (and the entire Hell to Pay series) contains very dark undertones and themes of good vs. evil, love overcoming insurmountable odds, and has scenes of violence which could disturb sensitive readers. The love story includes detailed descriptions of sex that most folks seem to enjoy, but again might be too much for folks who prefer "behind closed doors" sex scenes. Each story does have a happily ever after, but it typically comes at a high cost to character(s). As for excitement and fantasy in the read? Um, yes, yes and again, yes!
I hope that helps answer your question. Please feel free to shoot me questions anytime, Terrie!
