You could put MacBeth into the the 21 Century and he would be at home. When I think of MacBeth I see Hillary and Bill Clinton. Both are dysfunctional, corrupt, and bold face liars. Could anyone find such an accurate comparison?

im not sure who i would compare him too but i dont think its a good point that although the language is archaic and sometimes confusing the actual story feels like it could be set in any period. i could definitely picture macbeth as a paranoid, power hungry politician

There used to be a rule never to talk politics or religion in polite company. As far as I'm aware neither of the Clintons have actually murdered anyone.
