I'm writing a report for my Intermediate Theater class, on your play, "Collaboration". It is by far one of my favorites and I must ask, what inspired you to write it?

WOW, I'm sorry, I'm only seeing this now, and the question is apparently two years old!
Basically, the short version is: this is mostly a true story. The play is inspired by real life events that I experienced, and a few that were experienced by friends of mine. The play is essentially a conversation that I was too scared to have in reality, so I wrote it, instead. I wrote it for the Hinman Production Company Student Play Contest at Binghamton University, and it was one of the two winning plays.
Incidentally, it follows Aristotle's unity of place and unity of time guidelines, possibly because we talked about those things in the Theatre History class I was taking at the time.
