Is the implication that Blayney's new friend Raffi is actually his brother/ half brother (sorry - I may have missed something through reading it half asleep!)? ie mother's child to another relationship.

Sue In The Cartographer, the twins meet Raffi and think they are looking at themselves. When they tell their mother about this, she obviously knows something that's she's not telling them.

Mr Saikaly I certainly got the impression that Raffi and Blayney are half-brothers through the father.
