Is there anyone else who has read/is reading this and either went to/is considering going to a DNF? I'm halfway through the book and I'm struggling to stay interested. Characters are one-note and stock, story isn't very engaging. For people who finished it, does it get better in the latter half?

Clayton Gardner I was in the exact same position as you. I powered through it and there were a few points of interested but overall the characters were extremely 1 dimensional and the story, while it had some high points, wasn't fleshed out by any means. The entire story felt like a decent outline for a potentially good story with little expanded on or fleshed out.
George I know this is an old question, and old answers, but I'm betting still valid. I'd say that anybody who's gotten halfway thru and isn't enjoying it won't enjoy the other half any better.

Me, I very much enjoyed the whole thing.
Joseph Larsson I liked the book overall. However i read it over time a few chapters here and there. I'm at about 88 percent and am not bored. I'm not really sure who the main character is. Also the over cause of conflict is unclear.
