Yes, Allie is Seacrest. Her relationship with Becky in NSAS was more sadomasochistic than BFFs. She was always putting Becky down, calling her fat and ugly, saying her freckles were ugly and her skin was too pale. Maybe the author didn't consider that a true friendship.
