Do readers know that this is a fictional account of the author's childhood?I have read the book. Know both birth family and adopted family. This book is entirely made up. Birth family is embarrassed and has apologized. They know the truth. The adopted family is understandably upset by this slanderous book. The author is a sick man and needs help.
