I own all three of The Lord of the Rings "trilogy." I never can seem to get very far but I haven't tried to read again in a couple years. Since then, I have read the 4 mistborn novels as well as the 2 Stormlight Archives by Brandon Sanderson. Can anybody compare these for me and tell me if I should start reading LotR?

I can go ahead and say--yes, I would recommend reading LOTR. Even though they may be similar in certain ways, LOTR came first (as I am sure you know) and is DEFINITELY worth reading!
