Matthew Lovelock

If we have such strong will, enough to evolve in order to survive, then why are we heading into extinction?

Isaac Mizrahi i'm not sure it's b/c we consume...i think we could cover that angle, but i'm no expert...but what i would like to contribute is it's b/c we're addicted to comforts and willing to comprimise our morals in order to maintain comforts both physical and intellectual. and b/c, in our vanity and arrogance we put ourselves 'outside' of the animal kingdom. to call someone an animal is, supposedly derogatory when, really, it's just pretentious ignore-ance. intution is a gift of evolution. yet we constantly pretend it doesn't exist in humans...i agree. we WILL be gone, en masse, in the next 70 or so years...systems are breaking down that are essential to our existence...yet we go about our lives, business as usual. after you read this, you'll do the same...that's how smart we are. good luck.
