Gina asked:

Does Deborah make an appearance (or, heaven forbid, have a significant role)? Because she is the WORST. Believing the Lie made me so angry!

Lawrence E. Spann Extremely brief appearance - one sentence.
Mary Ellen Fortunately not. I agree re: Deborah & Believing the Lie. But skip this doorstop of a book. It is not worth the time.
Sandra Conner Deborah is mentioned once. That is one time too many for Deborah The Drip.
Eric Tangentially, I'm going to suggest you will probably want to avoid "A Place of Hiding", if that is the case (that is, since Deborah and Simon are primary protagonists in that one...)
Funda Keskin Thank God, no! Simon makes a very short appearence, but no Deborah.
