Hi all, I'm pretty new to the mystery novel world. I first read the Archie Mc Nally series, then the Stone Barrington books, then Myron Bolitar. I loved them all. Can you recommend some other series that have great characters, good plots, a sense of humor? Thank you so much!!

Martha Morrison Steve Hamilton writes mystery books about the upper Michigan area and a cop turned private citizen named Alex McKnight. The series is very good. I think you might enjoy them.

Mike I enjoy the Lucas Davenport series by John Sandford, and the Elvis Cole series by Robert Crais - both are action packed with some humor interspersed.
