I agree with Cassandra that your question is wildly unclear. Also I hate it since I saw it before starting the book and you had me freaked that he or Iskierka were going to die or be traitors or something equally horrible.
However, after reading the book, it seems obvious that your distaste is for Granby being gay. Sorry to break it to you - gay people have always existed and we're going to continue to do so
