You should absolutely give it a chance. It feels very different from the Mistborn series, and there is a lot of suspense built in that makes for a captivating read!

I've read Sanderson Mistborn trilogy, and I only finished it because I started it not because i wanted after that i told myself i won't loose time for any other of his books but since i hadn't had any other i took Warbreaker from friend and it was actually pretty good, better than Mistborn.

Definitely, yes. The magic system and world-building are unique and less complicated than Mistborn.

No idea. I love Brandon's works, I don't know how it feels NOT to :)) I finished Mistborn - all 6 volumes - Elantris and Warbreaker in less than two months. So... Dunno, your decision, I guess.
