I would say they are just like the individual volumes, but like if you glued three volumes into one giant edition. They all contain the beginning honorfic explanation and the ending translation notes for each individual volume. Personally I am very happy with the ones I got because it is the same price (price differs from where you order from) for the value of three volumes.
