Pamela asked:

I've recently started reading this book, just finished chapter 2, and I find myself picturing the characters as, well, thirteen year olds. I'm not sure why. It's clearly specified they're in high school. Maybe it's their names or the writing style but my question is, do the characters mature/grow in this book?

Simone Very much so. Stiefvater's character development is exquisite. Once you read about Ronan and Adam's backgrounds, I'm positive you will envision them as much older than thirteen.
