I suppose some books aren't for everyone. I picked this up and couldn't put it down. I thought it was fantastic!

Wondering if you managed to finish? I was the same, I just could not get into this book at all. I got about half way through and set it down. Around a year later I found it while relocating. I was determined to finish it whether I enjoyed it or not. It does get better. It is beautiful. Definitely worth finishing.

I found it strange but interesting up till around half-point. Then all the pieces in the puzzle fall into their place and it starts to become very interesting, unputdownable!

Good I thought I was the only one that found this book strange and kind of hard to read at the beginning. But like most people say it does gets better, and you start understanding a lot towards the end.

It is a good book. It is meant to keep you guessing. It is the story of a child from the age of 9 to 19. And what happens in his mind. I can't say more without spoiling it for you. But it is a good book. For some reason it made me think of The Wasp Factory though it's nothing like it. I couldn't put it down! It has suspense feeling. We are all different when it comes to books. For some it works, for some it doesn't.

One day three weeks ago I set this book down, and then I found it yesterday having completely forgot I had read half of the thing. I feel like it's good, but for some reason the story just isn't sticking. I have started it over from the beginning and experienced only vague recollections.
