I thoroughly enjoyed it and I'm not one to usually read historical fiction. The characters I found very believable and merged so well with the historic ones that I began to think they were all real. You know how Rowling made Little Winging and Hogwarts feel like they really existed, and all the characters real? That's what I felt with this book, and that is rare for me. Fantastic escapism at its best!

If you're not interested in time travel or historical settings, maybe this isn't for you. But I thought it was exciting, fast-paced, emotionally rich, and great group of characters. I'd definitely recommend it.
