Gabby A crime book about how the lack of knowledge can lead to a dangerous situation. Atrocious at points. Welll- written and easy to follow.
Suraj Pawar Sheldon portrays a woman strong, sensible, at the height of power and having the rest of the world wanting to defeat her. She is the center of the book around whom the plot and rest of the characters revolve.

Samuel Roffe, head of the multi-billion dollar pharmaceutical empire Roffe and Sons, dies in what appears to be a tragic mountain climbing accident. He has a daughter, Elizabeth Roffe.
Sam’s cousins were females. The men they had married, are behind the property. Rhys Williams played an important role in the company’s expansion and was Sam's right hand.

Now, Elizabeth, is the only heir to the huge “Roffe and Sons” Empire.

Elizabeth holds the president ship posts and is encouraged by Rhys. She takes her new role more seriously than her family, the Board of Directors at Roffe and Sons. They convince Elizabeth of the company’s financial problems and urge her to make Roffe and Sons a publicly owned company, therefore allowing the Board to sell off their shares (previously denied by Sam, who insisted the company remain within the family).

When she refuses to capitulate, several murderous attempts are made to get her out of the picture, and she fears for her life, as well as the future of Roffe and Sons.

Then the reader is introduced to Police Inspector, Max Hornung. The inspector character asks all the right questions and makes all the right assumptions.

Max informs the family members that the rope Sam was using to climb, had been shot by a bullet. Max informs Elizabeth that the traitor was one of the family members including Rhys.

The story gets a lot of twists at the end.
