Susan asked:

I am a new fan of the series and presently reading Fatal Consequences. I am really enjoying the book though it was a bit uncomfortable with a brutal rape of one of the detectives. However, I am a bit confused as to how it is possible that Gonzo's baby mama did not give the baby a name, but was still able to put him down as father on the child's birth certificate? How is that possible?

Bette Stanek Depending upon what state you're in, the baby doesn't have to have a name recorded at birth. For instance, in IL, I think the name can be left blank for up to 10 days. All other information is listed, however.
