Sam Lowry
Sam Lowry asked:

Argh... I have not yet finished the book, but it stroke me somewhere in the beginning of Chapter 6 that this is book is an adaptation of "Defnitely Maybe", a 1974 novel by brothers Strugatsky. Am I right?

Alexandru Pănoiu Well, the basic plot is indeed quite similar to Strugatsky brothers' Definitely Maybe, with the difference that the Russian novel is (if I remember correctly) quite pessimistic, as a good Russian novel should be, whereas the Chinese approach is (a little) more optimistic; and of course, the adversary is not the universe itself but rather an actual (or at least potential) enemy and their minions.
