The Soulfinders trilogy is set 8 years after Fire Study ended, but it's like a continuation. I think of all of them as a big series.

I haven't read Shadow Study yet, but the Glass series is a spin-off. If I recall correctly, Yelena and Valek make brief appearances in at least one of the Glass books, but the story focuses on Opal.
