It all depends on your reading style but I can guess that you have a pretty high chance of loving the series!

There is a big chance you will like it, but if you don't want to risk buying the books, you can get them at your local library first to see if you like them.

I think it will be worth it. The chance of you loving the books are very high, its hard to not love the story and characters. If you have seen the movies and liked them then you will like the books just as much! Hope this helps
