Well I'm 14 years old and I love this series! But there are some bloody parts and it's kid of deep... so it really depends on your niece if she can handle it. I would highly recommend Graceling Realm trilogy, it's kind of same as Throne of glass but more propriet for children of 12-15. But i think adults would love it too. I could say Graceling Realm is one of my favorite series. (sorry for my english;D)
