Did I totally miss something? Why did Vivian think she knew Jane from somewhere else? I kept thinking it was going to be because she was actually Diane, but, she wasn't. This seemed like a total plot boo-boo to me.

I didn't see it like that at all! To me Vivian had only ever been visited at the cabin by Anthony Melbourne or by Jane and so would only expect to see one of them if someone arrived. When it was a woman, inevitably, Vivian first mistook Diane for Jane.

Did she finally realize it was because she looked so much like Diane? When she realized Vivian was Diane's sister?
