It's clear Jim B is tired of Dresden. Any chance of a spinoff series? Molly Carpenter is a great, fun character. She could carry a trilogy.

Joe Anderson He has a Dresden book scheduled for release next year. It isn't unusual for authors to have more than 1 series on the go at once. (Check out Brandon Sanderson for an extreme example.)

It isn't even the first time Butcher started another series. He started and completed the Codex Alera while still putting out Dresden books.
Kevin I disagree that it is "clear"...Harry has just now got his wizard sight...his power is only now maturing...Jim is an intelligent individual who seems to want to avoid concentrating solely on "Harry" so as to stave off boredom/monotony...Codex Alera was awesome and he was still writing Dresden novels...I think the best of Harry may be yet to come...(or strongly hope)
