Is this book appropriate for teens?

Matthew Cox It depends on the individual teen. There are some dark topics presented here, but nothing explicit shown. The story has a fair amount of strong language (more or less how things were around me at that age). Natalie uses it as another means to lash out at her parents and reject her 'good girl' identity, but as she gets caught in a karmic tornado, she does try to ease back on that.

I'd say this book is probably good for the average 14 year old, varying down if the reader is more mature, higher if less mature.
