I have a soft cover book copy. There are very few illustrations / drawings, but no photos. The e-book version should be fine. I hope you've bought it and enjoyed it already!

Sacks was a master of painting accurate, detailed & humane word portraits of his patients. No photos needed. You won't be disappointed by the e-book, I think.
