The best modern English renditions of the Winchester Le Morte are Lumiansky (out of print), and the Oxford World's Classic by Helen Cooper (abridged). The best modern English renditions of the Caxton are the two volume Penguin Paperbacks. The Keith Baines rendition Signet press is very readable, but does alter the text in various surprising ways; the Ackroyd novel I found to be overwritten and thouroughly annoying.
Raghuveer Parthasarathy
It's a condensation and re-telling of Le Morte d'Arthur, not a one-to-one translation, but certainly not a separate work.
