Goodreads asked Celia Micklefield:

How do you deal with writer’s block?

Celia Micklefield I don't beat myself up about it. I might go for a walk or make a cup of tea. Sometimes I write something else instead. I nearly always have more than one thing on the go.
Recently, due to my diagnosis of CRPS I lost the creative spark completely. Pain blocked out any thoughts of writing something new. Fortunately, I found I was able to edit and I published Patterns of Our Lives only a couple of months later than I'd intended.
