Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

D.L. Havlin The "Bully Route Home" was just released by my publisher on August 15th. It's partly autobiographical, partly imagination, and mostly a statement on what I see occurring in this country today ... a decline in the progress we've made in race relations since the fifties. I hope it will help people (particularly younger ones) see where we've already tread and realize retracing our steps is a foolish endeavor.
