How do you get inspired to write?

Collin Fairlie A lot of different things inspire me. I can get inspired by a conversation on the train, a dream I had and even just looking at a setting. I think what's important is to recognize when you have inspiration to write, and write everything down before the inspiration goes away. Then, when you need that inspiration again, you can go back to your own words to find that same inspiration that you had before.
