Hey Celeste, what is your writing ritual?

Celeste Prater Hi, Barbara! Thanks for the question. It's a good one! My preference is to be in my comfy clothes (shorts and a raggedy black muscle shirt) and sitting on my bed with my laptop. I tried writing at a regular desk but had to get up a lot to stretch my legs. It also felt too much like 'work'. I like having my favorite coffee cup (decaf) by my side. It says..."Please do not annoy the writer, she may put you in a book and kill you." :-) It was a gift, made me laugh, and helps me slip into my 'author' mindset. I work full time, so I squeeze in the stories on my lunch hour, after work, and weekends. I wish I could write all day long. I absolutely love it! :-)
