Goodreads asked Edwin D. Ferretti III:

How do you deal with writer’s block?

Edwin D. Ferretti III Dealing with writer’s block is a subject that I avoid. Let me clarify that for you. To me writer’s block is a slow down to writing your book. You can tackle it one of two ways, wait until you figure out how to finish your scene or what your next scene is, and then continue writing. This process takes too much time to complete so I think about it in the back of my mind, and move to another section of my story and write that. When I’m finished with the new scene or scenes, I have thought of a solution, return to my obstacle and rewrite it.
