Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Abe Aamidor Lots of people who read small literary journals want to be published themselves, and some writers do break through. But how? Lots of advice on getting published is generic or inspirational, but not really "how to." When looking at ads for all the ubiquitous MFA programs out there I had the idea of writers who start their own commune - not to worship their Gods, not to do drugs, but to write. Would they all be sincere? Focused? Talented? I decided to explore the possibilities.
