Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?
Sandra Carey Cody
The idea for the book I'm working on now came from a question I had when I finished a previous book. That book, Love and Not Destroy, was intended to be a standalone. I wrote it, then went back to the series I write, but Love and Not Destroy wouldn't leave me alone. It is the story of a young woman who was abandoned as an infant. At the end of the book, she learns who her biological parents are. I had answered the question I posed in the beginning, but now I wondered how she would relate to those parents, especially the mother - and how the two mothers (biological and adoptive) would relate to each other. In the writing, the current book has taken a turn I didn't plan, but what I've just said describes the original idea.
