Never. Give. Up. Ever. If it's in your blood, brain and heart that you want to write: don't stop. Ellen DeGeneres once said that if you do something long enough someone will either pay you to do it or to stop doing it. I choose the former. It took me into my forties to finally make my writing a priority and not give up on achieving that childhood dream.
