I absolutely HATE Max and it really burns that he never got the punishments he so richly deserved for the vile abuse of Adelyn (from him but also from the others when he spewed his lies to them, Steel in particular) & all the women he slept with to rub her face in it. I am appalled that he wasn't made to pay & all the other got off scott free too?

Natasha Thomas This was a hard one for me to write. So much of it came from personal experiences, and like we all know, unfortunately not everything comes to a perfectly rounded out conclusion with payment in full for the injustices served up to us by others. What I really wanted to convey through Ade was her ability to forgive, regardless of people's capacity to hurt her. That's her gift to my readers, that everything else pales in comparison to love.
