Goodreads asked Pete Anderson:

How do you get inspired to write?

Pete Anderson I started as a teen-ager but my first one was just a story-ette, and it was terrible. The next was better but kinda rambled & petered out, just didn't know how to finish the story arc and produce a satisfying wind-down. "One if by Air" is the first I felt was publish-ready, but I really love "The Last Dance Can Be Murder" best, I really feel like I found my stride with the end of the trilogy, and I feel its my best work so far, also 100 pages longer than "One if by Air", but I still don't think I'll ever hit Stephen King territory. The Dome was 1001 pages, whew !!!!!
