Goodreads asked Christina Matson:

What’s your advice for aspiring writers?

Christina Matson Never give up. If you have a story in your head, put pen to paper and get it written down. Nothing happens overnight. It can take up to two years before the right publisher is found.

When you book has been written and published don 't sit back and leave the promoting to the publisher. You need to promote, promote and promote your book.

Have an author website, blog, Facebook page, Goodreads authors page, Amazon authors page, Twitter account, Linkedin account.

Submit your book to local libraries. Do promotions.

Basically get your name out there wherever you can.

People won't know about you if you don't promote yourself.
