Goodreads asked Steven S.K. Kennedy:

What’s your advice for aspiring writers?

Steven S.K. Kennedy Write what's in your heart and spirit. Don't worry about what critics will say. You have a unique voice that the world needs to hear. Let your writing come naturally. I found when I tried to force myself to sit still and write, I wasn't able to be very productive. But, when the mood struck me to write, it flowed easy. ALSO, that random moment when you get writing ideas in your head (ie driving, at gym, at work etc), get it down ASAP! Nothing worse than going home and trying to remember or recreate that brilliant idea you had in your head four hours ago (LOL).
