My mentor and I had been talking about me writing a "Bad Girl"/Good Boy book. Later that week, Pink Floyd's "Young Lust" came up on my shuffle playlist. The song is about a guy coming to a new town and wanting a bad girl to show him around. That was the skeleton for the story. Then I thought of "Punk Rock Girl" by The Dead Milkmen, and Sasha was born.
