I cannot even tell you how often I'm told by someone, upon learning that I am a writer, that he or she is also going to write a book or two, someday, but have yet to commit one word to a beginning manuscript. You cannot be a writer if you do not write! So, my advice to any aspiring writer is simply this: Write!
