Goodreads asked Geoffrey Robert:

How do you deal with writer’s block?

Geoffrey Robert Writing a novel like The Alo Release requires dollops of creativity, research and hard (at time mundane) slog.
Some days you feel creative and the ideas and words flow. On others the well of creativity dries up. The trick to handling writer's block is to recognise the dry days early, and instead of getting frustrated, shift your focus to either research or checking/editing. Or go for a mountainbike ride. That tends to clear the head.
