How do you deal with writer’s block?

Brent Lorentson Any time I seem to hit a wall it usually means I've done something wrong before I got to that point. I'll go back and see what other possible directions my characters can go. If that doesn't work sometimes just taking a break and watch a movie or read a book will help clear my head enough to approach the material with a fresh set of eyes.
