As a reader of historic novels (romance) since mid 70's when my mom gave me Forever Amber. I just have to say "Thank You!" The amount of serious historic detail in fantastic and has spoiled me. My question is: With all the various writing projects and PR for the books and show, what is your favorite "down time" activity? Do you get down time?

Diana Gabaldon I try. Hanging out with my husband is probably my favorite down time. Other than that...I dig in my garden, weather permitting (which it doesn't really at the moment--was 109 today. Again!). read and cook. Oh, and clean closets and drawers.
