Goodreads asked Caroline Wright:

What’s your advice for aspiring writers?

Caroline Wright Always save your work (or jot down new ideas)! No matter which stage of the writing process you're in, or even if you're not in love with your writing at the moment, save your ideas! You can always rewrite, add, subtract, or expand upon what you have. However, if you don't save your work, you may never be able to get it back or remember your initial idea. I find ideas pretty miraculous, so I think saving them is a wonderful way of honoring them (wherever they came from)! After all, they came to YOU.
