Goodreads asked January A. Winters:

How do you deal with writer’s block?

January A. Winters During the two years I was writing Kept Secrets, I encountered a bad case of writer's block only once. It was just after I'd returned from vacation. Suddenly I couldn't find the words to say, and worse, I had lost interest. Instead of pushing words onto a page I walked away from the story for a few weeks. Then one weekend, I fired up the laptop and just started reading what was already down. Before I knew it, I was immersed in the stories and its characters! That did the trick!
